This was part of my introduction for My Finest Hour. This concert was a requirement of the Advanced Storytelling Class, part of the curriculum for the Storytelling Master of Arts Degree at East Tennessee State University. This performance was taped at the International Storytelling Center Theater on February 13, 2009. This was the first time my mother got to see me perform and she was mesmerized. She passed away a little over two months after this performance. I am so thrilled she was able to be part of My Finest Hour. I was also very happy that my friend Libby Tipton could provide ASL interpretation for this performance. Elisabeth Ellis was the Emcee and my co performer was Marjorie "Mother Goose" Shaefer. Although she does not appear in either of these clips, I could not have done it without her!
